As a Property Accountant at CRE Vertical Advisors, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies that drive success for our clients and investors.
You will oversee the financial operations of our property portfolio, including budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and CAM reconciliations, while managing a small team.
Your experience with Yardi will be highly valued in this role.

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Manage and oversee the accounting and financial reporting for your assigned properties
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and cash flow projections
· Conduct or supervise the CAM reconciliations process and ensure that all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
· Work closely with asset and property managers to ensure that budgets are being followed and expenses are properly recorded
· Monitor and maintain cash balances and capital reserves
· Oversee accounts receivable workflow and related reporting
· Manage the AP process, including approving all invoices for payment
· Oversee monthly/quarterly distributions
· Oversee/perform special analyses on property results including revenues, operating expenses
· Provide regular reports to upper management and stakeholders
· Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems and processes
· Assist in preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
· Interface with company personnel to maintain the proper flow of information
· Other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

*Required:*
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· At least 4 years of experience as a Property Accountant or similar role with commercial properties.
· Strong knowledge of Yardi Voyager
· Knowledge of CAM reconciliations and experience with financial analysis
· Proficiency with excel
· Experience managing others
Preferred:
· Experience with Avid Exchange or similar program
· Acquisition underwriting and lease analysis
· Proven Ability to communicate effectively with property managers, upper management, and stakeholders
This is an in-office position based in our River Edge, NJ office.
