Old Town Camper 16’ Royalex ® Canoe - $500 (Middletown, New York)

The Old Town Camper/Chipewyan 16' is one of the best all-around canoes for fishing, camping and for family use.
What makes the Royalex Camper so highly sought after is its relative light weight and great stability.
At 16' it is easy to maneuver and weighs less than 60 lbs.
The Camper is sturdy enough for the Delaware, stable enough for the Hudson, and has enough capacity for long canoe trips with portages through the Adirondacks.
It's on those portages that you will really appreciate the light weight of the Camper.
One of the gunwales was damaged so I replaced both with new gunwales.
I also replaced the yoke and thwart.
It has the usual scratches and dings you would expect from being enjoyed, I touched up minor wear with tinted G/Flex.

I lowered the seats for increased stability on an already stable canoe.
This canoe is solid and ready to go – see pictures for details.
Paddles, PFD and seat backs are available but not included.
